Flush library or mounted photos? About what % of pix were B/W?
We're in disagreement on this with FH, so need some advice, please!

We got the reversable bound library book. All of the photos are permanently mounted to the pages, but only 3 of the pages have the photos flush with the edges.
I would say about 15% of our album is B&W.

We got the same album as Claud, there are couple of our pages which are flush!!!
We have a nice mix of b&w and sepia and a lot of color.

We got the matted pics. I wanted different sized pics in my album. I have a few b&W, and a few sepia toned as well.

We have the same type of album as Claude and Shamma. Its hard to decide how many B&W vs color you want until you get your proofs. If you can hold up on that decision until you are ready to design your album you may have an easier time deciding. I thought we would only want a few B&W but once we saw our proofs we decided to add more pages and more B&W's!

Our album is like Diane's. We have pages with multiple pictures on it .. like a cake-cutting sequence .. us cutting, me feeding him, him feeding me and our kiss.
We only did one sephia tone, and no black and whites .. mainly because our photographer took everything in color, and it was hard for us to decide which to change without seeing how it would look first. As for the one sephia tone we got .. I love it!

same as Diane - we really liked the different composition of different sized pictures and uniquely cut mats.
We have maybe 1/3 sepia.

Same as Diane, Kel, and LisaT. I would say mine is about 60% B&W and 40% color.

Just wanted to thank everyone for replies, we're still trying to figure out which album to get, esp. since I also like the scrapbook style...
How did you guys narrow it down/compromised?

We really didn't have that many options from the studio. However, by the time our album was ready, the studio started to offer 'newer' styles to the finished bridal albums. If I had seen some of those a year and a half ago, I may have chosen them.
I also wanted to add that our album has many pages that have more than just one photo on them. It really is personal preference, but we liked using smaller pics on some pages in order to show a series of events in a given moment. Just something to think about.

Claud2001: What kind of styles were they? I wonder if we have seen all the style options so far:
1.Matted leather albums (usually with black borders) 2.Flush library albums 3.Digital flush library albums 4.Magazine albums 5.Scrapbook style things
Am I missing something? Should I expect to find something else if I visit more photographers?
My personal preference would be for something matted, but I don't like leather covers that I have seen so far, and prefer the silk covers that usually come with scrapbook style albums... Fi likes library or magazine style... We still have to hash this out... Did anyone else disagree on this, newlyweds?
