What was the main thing that made you pick your RH?

For me it was the beautiful indoor atrium!!!

I knew I wanted to marry outdoors, but for me the atrium was a wonderful back-up!!! I had looked at one other RH, really liked it, but didn't book it b/c if I had to get married in doors the indoor ceremony are looked like a funeral home. I've had too many friends almost in tears b/c they picked their RH based on the gardens and outdoor ceremony, and then it rained!!! The atrium comforted me b/c I no longer needed to be concerned with the rain!! I LOVE FLOWERFIELD!!

Geez it's so hard to choose....reputation, price, location, on the water....it's just awesome! I wanna do it again!

I knew I wanted a small intimate wedding but so many places have a much higher minimum. It worked out perfect that the OFC was a smaller venue with no minimums on Sundays. Its also on the water, its so quiet and peaceful back there, and quaint but classy. I fell in love with the reception room and that we could have an outdoor ceremony on the back deck in front of the water. It was perfect for us!!

location! we wanted to get married in port jeff.... the hall had a 270 degree view of the harbor....

it also didn't have fake architecture.... no plaster columns glued to the walls or pseudo antiques in the hall... it was a genuine 180 year old building........

I love Danford's We stayed there the night of our wedding along with a few members of the bridal party!

I love Danfords too! Thats where we (and all of our family/OOTers) stayed for our whole wedding weekend (getting ready, taking pics before our ceremony, stayed there the night we married). Some of our fav pics are from there.

It was funny...someone got married right outside our room on the morning of our wedding. I was so worried I was going to have to walk down through their wedding in my gown on the way to our ceremony. Thank God they were done earlier or I would have felt weird!

We actually saw a wedding there and loved the package price plus the idea of it being in a hotel too for OOT guests.

We picked Flowerfields for almost the same reason. We loved the atrium because we were getting married at Christmas time and we wanted to make sure that we would have a place to have pictures taken if it was too cold.

Well, it ended up being a beautful day about 60 degrees in December. we were able to have some pictures taken outside.

we loved Flowerfields also!

I loved the outside scenery that it has, and also the marble inside .... Food and Service was VERY important to me, so I wanted to find a place that was pretty, had very good and A LOT of food and very good service...ooh and could hold more than 300 guests comfortably. The Watermill was the only one that had all of that.

Everything!
The setting, the location, the history, the ballroom!
I loved that it was private (only one wedding at a time) and that the Mansion was like your 'home' for the day! I loved the view from the back patio!
Everything!

It was PERFECT! We LOVED the Bourne Mansion and knew as we drove down the driveway that was where we were going to get married! I've always wanted to have my wedding in an old mansion with a grand ballroom, especially after visiting the Newport Mansions in Newport, RI. The Bourne was PERFECT! And did NOT disappoint on our wedding day! Lessings was amazing, our Maitre D Steve and Attendant Nicolette were AWESOME!

We loved the fact that it was in Smithtown, we grew up around there. My GF got married there 3 years ago and it was an amazing wedding! So went I went back I just knew it was the one and it was PERFECT!!!!!!

for us we thought the CBC was not your typical RH. The view, sunset and being married on the beach is something we wanted to do and the CBC was the perfect place for it..

The memories that it had for me. My dad worked there taking care of the greens and the greenhouse for years and years. He passed away 11 years ago. WSCC is so beautiful.
