Re: what was the shortest amount of

I heard a story about a friend of a friend finding THE DRESS at a sample sale at a Macy's out of state for $75. She walked out with it that day, and it needs no alteration!

Me on the other hand, took two months to find something I liked, and then about 6 to get it in.

Re: what was the shortest amount of

It took me forever to decide and about 8 months for the dress to come in.

If you have a dress in mind that needs to be made, you might want to contact the manufacter directly and see if they would do a rush job for you. Otherwise, off the rack.

Re: what was the shortest amount of

I bought a beautiful beaded discontined sample dress and got it real inexpensive and went home with it that day. I tried on so many dresses and wanted that one and they weren't going to sell it, then they found out it was discountinued and they sold it to me!
