i thought this dress was the one..i took my Mom to see me in it and try on a few more...and that is when i found my real dress & we both loved it so much more...it's a completely different look than what i wore.(Alfred Angelo)
I loved my dress but part of me wonders if I shoulda gone with....Samara Lynette - Maggie Sottero. Ugh it was a TOUGH decision but comfort and ease won out.
I would have ordered it in diamond white with pewter accents. The pewter accents would have really shown up in pics!! I tried it on in ivory with blush accents...wow. Loved the detail. But it was just too much dress for me- can you believe that? I'm weird!

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
Of course I would have loved a Vera Wang gown but didn't have that kind of money for just a dress. I ended up being very happy with my gown and I got a gorgeous, well made gown for a really good price- surprised me actually.
But Vera: Oh there's nothing like a Vera

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
I loved my dress, but I would have gotten it in off white and gold. That is what color the one in the shop was, but I wanted to go traditional. I still loved the dress, but liked it in the other color better.

I had no second choice. I tried on one dress and that was the one. My dress was a Justin Alexander. So Beautiful.

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
the first dress I absoultey fell in love with became #2 when I decided to go for a more classic timeless dress, also an Anne Barge dress
it's the dress on the left with the pick-ups

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
i didn't have time to have a second choice I hardly had time to have a first choice. Most places said I didn't have enought time to order a dress and had to buy one off the rack. Then I found my dream dress and the store was able to order it. It arrived only 9 days before the wedding but I loved it and don't have any regrets.

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
Well most of the 07 girls know I hated my wedding dress-chose it originally for a destination wedding but when we decided to stay here totally wasn't what I wanted but we didn't have the money for a new dress and I couldn't get anyone to buy this one. So I stuck with it but hated it. I wanted 'more dress' for a local wedding. The only things I liked of my day of attire were my veil, shoes and hairpiece. I would have gone with a Maggie Sottero dress. I loved these three. I also LOVED Pronovias' dresses but they were so out of my price range. AMAZING fabrics though.

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
This was the first dress I bought, then decided to go with one that was more 'me'. I am SO glad I changed, though I could have done without paying for more than half of the first dress and then the second one.
This was my number 2, a very close second! BTW the model does it no justice!

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE
I LOOOOOVED my dress and am so glad I went with it.
If that dress had not been available, I had really loved the all lace dress and would have worn it with a white sash (tied in back) for the ceremony and with a blue sash (tied in back) for the reception.
I also loved the pickup dress in champagne, but didn't like the way it looked in white so I kept looking and eventually found MY dress.
