I'm in my brother's wedding and FSIL's sisters asked if I had any suggestions for shower favors. I had candles at mine, so I don't know if they will want to do that since half the people will have gotten them at mine too. Also going to suggest bath stuff 'From x's shower to yours'. But I wanted to get a few more ideas to pass along.
glass coaster sets that had 'love' written on them in different fonts.

Re: What wereyour bridal shower favors?
mine were pretty tea mugs (that they were able to get from teh dollar store!) with different flavored tea bags in each one... orange tea, raspberry tea, chamomile tea, etc... and the tag said somethign like ' the perfect blend' or ' suited to a tea', something like that. with our names on them.. very cute, and very useful! for other showes i've thrown i did cute shaped cookie cutters with a tag that said ' cut out for each other' with their names and then a recipe for sugar cookies.... for another shower, it was in the spring, so i went to michaels and bought mini terra cotta pots and then went and got a tray of flowers from my parenst garden center, and planted a flower in each pot and the tag said ' growing in love' with their names. everyone really liked it because they were able to plant the flower outside and enjoy it all summer...

We did an international kitchen theme (foods from different places and guests brought kitchen related gifts) so my BM gave out a pretty plate and chopsticks as the favor with personalized ribbon:

Mine were mason jars filled with ingredients to make chocolate chip/m&m cookies. Attached was the recipe and a personalized ribbon. In my pink theme of course! They were a big hit!

Re: What wereyour bridal shower favors?
My mother made this bar of soap holder out of wash cloths and fake flowers. It was adorable, decorative and she got soap that had nice smells so it is a potpourri like. I don't have a photo with me but when I get back home this weekend I will post what it looked like.
