What would you call this type of ring and would you consider it to be acceptible as both rings?

As a wedding band and engagement ring in one, I picked this out (picture is bad sorry):

The wedding band is hugging the engagement ring. Does anyone else have this type of ring?

Im now starting to think that its proper to have a seperate wedding band, is that true? Or is this also acceptable?

It's very pretty. Not sure what its called.

the style of ring is called a bypass--
I used to sell jewelery and I like that style, it's very comfortable.
I just have one ring, I like it that way!
