So we are all newlyweds here...if you could go back and change one or more things with your wedding what would it be?
For me...I would have taken off my shoes for our big dance, since I waddled around in circles trying not to fall out of my big shoes. We looked like idiots for the whole song.

I loved my day but to go back, knowing what I know now, I would have pushed DH harder for a small, intimate destination wedding. I thought then and still think it would have been more 'us'. I hated having to say 'nice to meet you' to more than half of the people at my own wedding
I'd not change anything. Loved it just the way it was...including the rain....

My wedding was perfect!
I would have preferred it not have rained, mostly b/c the rain prevented us from taking a few of the photos that I always had as 'musts', ie: the bridal party on the steps of the church, the bubbles being blown, the toast at the limo. Actually our versions of these are great and more original b/c of the rain!
I also would have added a chocolate fountain. Prior to my wedding I never really considered it, but after reading these boards and seeing the photos, it seems so great and everyone would have enjoyed it!
And the only change I would possibly have made, was to be more assertive with the photographer...I was determined to let them do their job, they had my lists...but in the end some important shots were missed. Tho overall the photos are wonnderful!

I would have changed: Limos Reception - well would have liked to looked a some in LI Favors Wish I hadn't listen to others and made my own decisions on some things

Everything actually went perfect... except 2 things.. I would of kicked a BM to the curb well before letting her be a part of my day (havent spoken to her since I got back from my HM due to several issues) and other thing I would change...
At the end of the night I was showing our BM who was who (vendor wise) so he could give them their tips. Well I was just about to show him who the Maitre'd was when I looked behind him and saw the Maitre'd standing behind him WITH HIS HAND OUT and he says 'MAITRE'D' with this face on.. My mouth dropped!! SOOOO.. if I was able to rewind time, I would of giving him a nice handshake on the hand that was ever so rudely being presented to me and walked away. I would of then proceeded to go over to the 2 WONDERFUL bridal attendants I had and given them this idiots $$.
Actually... one more thing I would change.. I would of pushed the same Maitre'd out of the way when he felt the need to help me and my DH cut our cake. Hi I am 31 years old, I know how to cut a cake, so step aside and back outta my pics thank you!!!

I would have gotten my dress altered elsewhere but otherwise, I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful day & to have married such a wonderful, caring, supportive man.

I would without a doubt, change my reception hall and probably my hair and veil. I wasn't happy with the way it looked.
It still was an amazing day though!

I would have gotten a better photog. I would have spent more time telling them what I wanted.
I would have insisted that the CH would be the only time I was willing to take pics, and after that, I was going to enjoy my wedding
I would have written instructions on the table cameras.
I would have spent more time going over, with the band, the songs they would play.
I would have gotten more make up trials
I would have placed the guestbook in a more prominent place, so people would know it was there, and have them SIGN it.
I would have told someone to see if any flowers were in the church from services before, and get rid of them!
I would have held my flowers lower so they didnt cover up my dress
I would have reapplied my lipstick more.
I would have spent less time talking to people I dont even know and more time dancing.
I would have held an afterparty to keep the day going
