my china was discontinued and i dont have it all yet. but i did see another one i liked should i switch it????? or try to find the rest of it? the fist one is the new one i like the second one is the original china?
that is definately a tough one...I would see if you could return what you have & get the entire set of the new china...

How about having both - depending on how many settings you need you could use both since they both have blue in them.
Otherwise, I'd try to find the discontinued one and if no luck on the internet - return for the new one.

We had the same issue with our pattern being discontinued. We selected a new pattern after the consultant told us how difficult it might be to get all of the pieces.
Check our http://www.replacements.com/china/manu/a.htm though if you only need a few pieces Good luck.
