Well it has happened to me and I chose to ignore him bc we are not friends and I did not see a point in being friends on facebook.
IMO it was him being nosy and wanting to see what my life is like now,
No hard feelings towards him but I am only facebook friends with people I am friends with.

I guess i'm the minority lol
Unless it was a really bad break up and you completely despise this person, then of course you ignore him!
I remained friends with my ex's, so I say add them. I actually had a nice lengthy convo with one yesterday on FB. Another one is In Iraq right now so i havent spoken to him but when he is home we talk probably about once a week.

I would probably add if we were on ok terms.
I have one ex on there and had two exes on myspace. It was totally platonic and we are still civil to eachother. I kinda wanted to be like ha, look at me now..I am married, yada yada!
I am also tooo nice.
If it were an ex I hated than I wouldnt add!

although sometimes they can still find their own ways. I had an ex who posted on my MOH's FB, she had a picture from my wedding and he posted a comment saying 'i didnt get my invite' so annoying lol

Re: what would you do...part 1
my high school boyfriend saw a post i put on his sisters page and he sent me....
'how's life?'
i just saw him at our 10 year reunion so he met DH....but we really didnt talk that night...
i answered him short and sweet and will tell DH tonight about him but i kinda feel bad for the guy, his family all packed up and moved to arizona and he has a business here in NY so he is trying to sell it so he can move too
and i knew all this info before he told me so thats kinda why i answered him.....

DH has his x as a friend, and I have mine too. We did not have bad breakups - we are all civil. All around everyone is now married, and its really not a big deal.

im not even on FB, i had enough with myspace and dont want to start another one lol. My MOH told me about it. I just hope DH doesnt see it only bc he knows my ex and doesnt like him lol so any little thing will annoy him.

Totally know what you mean! I got rid of myspace for similar drama.
Now I have FB but only friend my FRIENDS not randoms...It still isnt great bc like I said people can see all your stuff if their friend is tagged.

The first guy I dated in HS (not serious) is my friend on facebook. He is married with a child and Im married. We dont talk often but I thought it was nice to hear from him. If it bothers DH just dont accept him.

Ignore-what's done is done. You are happy don't let it stir up emotions.
