We are going to a concert in the Continenatal Arena to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Normally I wouldnt dress up much cause its the arena but we're going to a nice place for dinner aftwerards with the friends who invited us to the concert. What should I wear to be comfortable walking up stairs but also dinenr appropriate?
I am thinking slacks and a nice sweater. That ok you think?

Considering the streets are still messy and icy, I wouldn't wear anything with heels. I think slacks and a nice shirt or sweater would be great.

That outfit is perfect do you have flat boots or a boot with a square low heel not a stiletto. They will be comfy but still look nice.

that sounds fine- and I would wear ballet slippers if you have- just so it's not as slippery...

That is absolutely fine...but wear shoes with traction (like boots-no heels) or you could fall (I am sounding like my mother)
