Does anyone know a good style/brand? With my new haircut, she was saying I should use a flat iron on the ends, but I've never needed one before, since I'd never usually 'style' my hair before, just throw it up on a ponytail or blow dry it. Thanks!!

Re: What's a good flat iron
i loveeeeeee my maxiglide... its works really well and it doesnt damage my hair like other irons i have used
My hair dresser uses it on me but I haven't bought one yet. It is amazing. There's another one that they make that you can use when your hair is still wet!

Go to Folica.com-GREAT site for hair stuff. I ordered one by Hot Tools. My stylist uses the same one on me which is why I ordered it; its only fifteen bucks and works great.

Re: What's a good flat iron
Thanks everyone! I'll have to check them all out when I get home later. I know I'll end up spending a ton because i need a flat iron, but then that makes me think i need a new dryer too. And then I loved the products she used when I was there. Somebody stop me

i bought a maxiglide and hated it, it didnt work on my curly hair.
I bought the Sedu from folica, it works nicely on my hair.

Re: What's a good flat iron
I have the MaxiGlide and the Sedu. LOVE them both, but they serve different purposes for me.
The maxiglide I use with the combed plate to take my hair from curly to straight. It's a lifesaver! I have saved SOOOOOOO much money by getting the maxiglide and straightening my own hair instead of going to the salon all the time. I believe it costs $69 or $79 and it's worth way more than that in my opinion!
The sedu I use when I want to get my hair PIN straight (I would have already used my maxiglide to straigten it from curly). I love the sedu - it definitely work super well. It's $99 so I think its not too expensive at all.

I have a CHI also and I'm in love with it!

I like CHI but mine is called straight crazy-tourmaline ceramic.
But, I would also invest in the CHI nano dryer...it is amazing!

T3 is the best. Nice and thin so it's easier to use and gets nice & close to the root

Re: What's a good flat iron
I've bought every flat iron on the planet and the only one that all around worked the best my paul mitchell smoothing iron. I can't see anyone not being blown away by it. And definitely order from folica.com they have the best prices!
