what's a good restaurant to go to for our 1 year anniversary?
Me and DH need some suggestions for a restaurant the actual day of our anniversary, which is a Monday... we're willing to go to Manhattan, LI, anywhere as long as it's a good place.
We're tired of our usual restaurants in Queens.
Help
Ugh........I just realized....some restaurants are closed on Mondays =(

We love the Polo Lounge inside of Westbury Manor. That's our go to fancy dinner place!

we're obsessed with this chinese/thai place on the UWS.
its not fancy at alllllll but the food is soo good and free unlimited wine.
we dont really do romantic dinners.
our life revolves around buffets lol

Our favorite restaurant is Alexandros in Mt. Sinai, but that's probably way too far out for you. 21 Main is Sayville is another of our 'special occasion' restaurants.

we usually go to steak houses for nick dinners....
lately we have done 21 Main (Sayville) Blackstone (Melville) Fat Fish (Bayshore) Hudson Mills (Massapequa - haven't been in a few years but was one of the best dinners I have had)
I also love Tula Kitchen in Bayshore....small and great food...kind of a different menu...lot of veg. dishes but everything I have had there was amazing

Definitely Prime in Huntington! It's right on the water, has a gorgeous outside deck where you can eat or have drinks and the inside is just as nice. They have excellent steaks there but they also have other dishes. It's pricey but it's my favorite restaurant. Excellent food and ambiance, I can't recommend it enough!

For my 30th birthday my DH took me to Del Posto in the Meat Packing District. It was the most delicious dinner I have ever had. We did the 'Il Menu Del Posto' which was $95 a person. It was insanely good.

Thanks for your suggestions ladies....I'm going to look into a few of those
I was also thinking of going to Nobu or Bar Americain (bobby flay's place)
I have to see which one DH would prefer, I'll pretty much eat anything bc I'm always hungry
