What's one (or more!) thing you love/look forward to... that everyone else hates?
Thought this could be a fun topic ... I heard it on the radio on the way to work.
For me... I like folding clothes and going to the dentist!
What things you do love or look foward to that everyone else hates?

winter, lol so i can actually see DH for more than an hour at a time
staying home instead of going out
anything to do with cooking or cleaning

This is cute Hayley.
Laundry! I actually like it because the smell of the fabric softener reminds me of being little at home. My mom always used extra so the hosue smelled awesome on laundry day when she hung clothes on thsoe folding racks.

Sometimes doing the dishes can be therapeutic.
Apparently there are also a few restaurants I like that everyone else seems to hate.

Laundry.
I don't mind going to the laundromat anymore. Two hours and I'm done. I can run some errands while the wash is in, and then again when it is in the dryer. Or I can just sit and read. I usually zone out while folding.
I also like ironing. I like the smell of the fresh laundry and the smell of the starch I use on my shirts. I turn the radio on to some classical music (yes, I'm a dork) and just zone out. I find it relaxing rather than a chore. Something about the repetitiveness of the motions.
Just saw Cindy's reply about dishes. I don't mind doing them either.

i'll have to think about something regarding myself, but i just wanted to say for those of you that like doing laundry and dishes, folding clothes and ironing, you're al welcomed to come do all that at my house anytime!

Bagging groceries. I know that's weird but I know a lot of people who hate to do that. I'm just so anal about where everything goes that I just like to do it. I'm weird. I also like balancing my checkbook.

Winter!!! I love snow!!!!!! Don't love it after the fact when it is all brown and slushy, but I still love it! My cell phone ring is still 'let it snow' by Michael Buble hahaha Eventually I will have to change that but I am holding out as long as I can!!
Hmmm what else.. I love sitting on the couch and watching tv on a friday night with DH. I'm not a big bar/club fan- every once and a while it can be fun- but I did a TON of that in college and am kind of over it. So I enjoy our quite nights in when we get wine and cheese/crackers and just relax!

Me too! I worked through high school and college as a supermarket cashier, so I never let the cashier bag my groceries now!! I'm pretty quick and I think that surprises most cashiers!!

I love to iron, for some strange reason it is very relaxing. I also like polishing silver and furniture. I love the smell of Pledge with Orange oil.

I loooove wrapping gifts! I can sit on the floor for HOURS just wrapping away. I think IM also starting to like the feeling of getting my eyebrows threaded too!

I do the same thing for the same reason. I was a grocery clerk too and I always bag my own groceries to give them a break!

I Third wrapping gifts!! I have an insane amount of wrapping paper, and I get excited when I find nice ones lol. I also love picking out cards. I buy cards at random with people and mind, sometimes years in advance!! <------ Worked at Hallmark for 7 years
