Whats the worst thing you did as a kid?

I was a really bad kid -- i dont know how my parents put up with me.

The worst thing I ever did was when I was 5 I wrote on their suede couch with permanent black marker My mom almost had a heart-attack when she saw it.

or maybe the time my dad paid like $4000 to get the bathroom re-tiled and before it finished setting I walked in and danced all over it. It cost him another grand to have them fix what I messed upblush: oops....

probably worst thing---i ran away from home!

w/o getting into details but i was gone for about 3-4 days when i was like 12. they had posters, the police, and school involved. i'll never forget the look on my mom's face when the cops found me and brought me back to them --- i think she aged 10 yrs. in 3 days. it was baaaad.

i did many many bad things as a kid -- but that one takes the cake

I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARES ABOUT THIS......
I had a library book that was very overdue. We kept getting notices in the mail.

I hid the book under my bed for what seemed like an eternity. Finally my mother just paid the library for the book. I kept it under my bed for a very long time; finally it was just eating me up inside....I felt so sick over this stupid book! I was actually sick over it.

I got hysterical and told my mom everything. I was sooooo upset. She could not stop laughing.


Once, my crazy Aunt let me and my cousins sleep over. I dropped a bottle of purple nail polish all over her brand new kitchen floor. then, the nailpolish got EVERYWHERE including her white carpet in her den. I was so scared....I sat on the stain all night, and wouldn't move. when that got awkward, I said I needed to stay there b/c my leg hurt. I didn't get up until she left the room and turned out the lights. My cousin and I went in with a scissors and cut away the rug that was stained with the nail polish.

when i was like 15 I had a party and one of my friends got so drunk she passed out & we had to call an ambulance & she had to go the hospital. my mom was away and my dad went out so til this day, they think she got food poisioning (thats my story & I'm sticking to it!) thats probably the worst only b/c it could have turned out a lot worse. Luckily she's okay & was one of my bridesmaids! When I think of all the stupid things I've done or how bad me & my brother were I now know what my mom meant when she said 'just wait & see when you have kids'.

ETA: I just read everyones & now I feel like I was a really bad kid but for the record I didn't get drunk that day

I was in 1st grade and my parents went away for the week and left us with a babysitter. I decided I was going to write my own bus pass so I could go to my friends house the next day. I wrote the whole thing out and asked my babysitter to sign it (saying I just wanted to see how she signed her name) and the next day I got off the bus at my friends. Our babysitter was freaking out calling all over the place trying to find me.

That summer after 1st grade my whole family went camping and my mom left early because she had to work. Well I didn't want to leave so I hid my dads keys in the grass somewhere and couldn't remember where. We spent hours looking for the keys and he was so pissed. My mom was almost ready to drive the 4 hours back upstate to bring an extra set of keys when we finally found them.

I was 14, and I had a guy over my house when nobody was home. Then, the door opened, and my brother came home. I snuck my bf at the time in my closet, and made him sit there for abt an hr until me and him escaped my house!!

my brothers & i would set fires in our kitchen sink when my Mom would leave...we always had a 'plan' incase it got out of control..hahah. Keep in mind i am the youngest...so it's really my bro's that were the bad influence! hahah.

Reminds me of when I was younger and I put a baggie in the microwave with a twist tie on it. It caught fire and I decided it wouldbe smart to throw some water on it to put out the fire.....yea....WATER IN THE MICROWAVE Lets just say....when mom came home it wasnt very pretty

DH and I are sooo the same its scary.

Myself and my BF were making grilled cheese and we took the pan off the stove (hot) and put it on the counter top, we burned and melted the counter top in my house and thought we could bleach the stain out lets just say heat and bleach dont mix-my grandma had to replace the counter top.

NOW DH on the other hand...was cooking and started a grease fire...his parents were coming home that day from a vacation (he was 17 or 18) and they had that crazy stucco looking ceiling with glass peices in it so the ceiling glittered, instead of shutting off the stove he freaked from all the smoke and went running to his neighbors house (2nd family) and they went over and checked itout. The WHOLE kitchen was black with soot. Melted the microwave over the stove, the neighbors hid him until they talked to his parents

He had a party senior year of HS and everyone was drinking, they got hungry at like 5 am so they made PB &J sandwiches...at some point they started throwing them into the fan
