and not something like 'my marriage failing' or 'not having a happy life', nothing too emotional. only nice shallow fears

I have a weirdo fear of being murdered. I think someone is hiding in my home all the time and waiting to kill me. I am so bad though because I watch shows like CSI all the time that does not help me sleep well at night. It's not so much dying that scares me but the fear and the pain before they actually murder me that scares me.
I am scared of snakes coming up through the toilet.
The thought of a cat touching my leg really freaks me out.
I am really scared of having a baby. The thought of a head coming through that hole is seriously how much does that HURT!!! It's the most unatural natural thing ever. I hope when we want children my desire will highly out weigh my fear.

My Biggest Fear is not being Financially Fit. Where I can not pay the Rent, Bills, or can't even make ends meet.

Spiders!!! And I grew up near the water, so we always had these HUGE spiders getting into our house! Last year while I was still living there I went to take a shower and there was a spider that I swear looked like a baby tarantula without the fur running around in the tub.

This is going to sound crazy!!! DH thinks I lack an adrenal gland. I dont really have a biggest fear, and I never get nervous. Its weird. I actually have been trying to find something that Im afraid of. Even after 3 serious car accidents...Its like they never even happened!!!

i had this same fear for so many years!! especially when i would be washing my face in the shower so my eyes are closed and I think that someone snuck into the tub and was right behind me with a knife

Escalators.. especially going down one! When I look at the steps moving I freeze and get all red and clammy! I can't hold anything and hold onto the railing for dear life!

I don't know why, but I have a huge fear of big trucks. I seriously panic when we are driving somewhere and we have to pass an 18 wheeler. I also panic when I have to take a down escalator, I get dizzy looking at the steps when you get on.
Okay so I thought I was the only one with the down escalators fear!! I hold on for dear life and sometimes get all red and clammy. It's so weird. Sometimes I look for stairs or an elevator especially at the mall! I HATE THEM! There is something about them that I freak out about!!

Mosly the unknown, like if someone comes up behind me and I don't hear them, then they say hello, I jump out of my skin. Most bugs, animals and snakes are kewl with me.
For some odd reason I HATE being afraid, so I have faced most of my old fears, dark, heights, (I now climb telephone poles for a living) bugs. I mean I get very 'aware' that they are there, but if I am afraid of something I will sit and have a rational 'talk' with myself. I learned about the things I was afraid of, it totally helped!
But the shock of someone being there w/o my knowing gets me for a sec.

Me too! I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with small panic attacks about this. I don't even know if I want to have kids because I don't want them to have to deal with it.
I'm also deathly afraid of flying

Same here. I would hate to die without saying goodbye. When you have little ones, you'll understand. Thats why I NEVER miss a day without an I Love You. And that goes for my husband as well.
