I want to surprise my little sister and make a wheat and gluten free dessert for her for Easter. I think I remember a bunch of you saying you have to eat this way. Can you please suggest some recipes that you know are good? Thanks!

That's so nice of you! I don't know of any recipes personally, but I found this for you!
I think Megan has to eat gluten free and I think she said Whole Foods had some good desserts!
If you're good with getting a mix, there's a brand called Pamela's that makes a brownie GF mix that DH LOVES! They have it all most grocery stores in the organic section, or of course whole foods.
I modified Mandy's macaroons recipe to make it kosher for passover, which also makes it GF. I use potato starch instead of flour and they come out wonderful! I was actually thinking of making a batch for Easter this weekend and using some food coloring to make them pink, green, and purple for easter. I'll take pics and let you know how that goes... let me know if you want me to type up the recipe. I made vegan chocolate chip macaroons last weekend and they are soooo good!

Lauren's right - I'm GF.
If you want easy & absolutely delicious - Betty Crocker makes a yellow & chocolate cake mix. I've made chocolate cupcakes for family functions & no one has ever noticed a difference. You may be able to find something of interest on their website : http://www.bettycrocker.com/products/gluten-free-baking-mixes
Whole Foods does have a pretty large selection of frozen baked goods - but super expensive. So far, I've only tried their cranberry orange scones & they were really good!
These are super easy, and taste great. Be careful they cook really quick. Defin use a nonstick cookie sheet!

Thank you so much! My sister has gone through so much lately and I just want her to have something for herself (even something as little as a dessert). Just to show that I'm always thinking of her!

my mom mixes the betty crocker cake and brownie mix and its amazing...
I've made the Banana Cupcakes with Browned Butter Frosting, Chocolate-Hazelnut Dream Torte, and the Brownie Ganache Torte with Raspberries. The first two were to die for. Everyone loved them. The brownie was a little too rich. Also - trader joe's GF brownies...awesome!
