I prefer a Friday since I dont have to go home too early. I know there were some girls who work in NYC but live in LI that said they prefer Thursdays ...but those people didnt end up coming if I remember correctly.

Knowing the effort involved in getting one of these together, we might want to make it inside since a)we wont have to change it if it rains and b)it might really hot/humid/nasty which will discourage people from coming c) a place with outdoor seating is going to have more limited availabilty for big groups.

I dont care either way...you just tell me when and where :D

Stef, I forgot about # of people and humidity, good points. That place seems nice and the prices aren't bad, is another location of it closer, meaning not so far uptown, like say midtown?? I see it says #3, do they have a 1 & 2

There is a place called City Bakery on 18th Street...sort of like a treny cafeteria just for desserts and such. Its on SATC every once in a while.

Not sure how late they are open. The site is not working well on my pc...can anyone find it?

Stef I called them, they told me that too how funny is that if anyone wants to do dinner then look for a dinner place, I just think the dinner no one ate much, but everyone was down for the desserts.

There's actually a little bar/restaurant near my office building that is pretty good for GTG's. They serve appetizers & bar food (pretty good) and the back tables usually empty in the evenings. But I don't know about dessets there.

PG Kings on 33rd Street between Fifth & Broadway. It's close to most subways and Penn Station for people headed that way but far enough away from MSG to be a sports bar.

We can also head into the Village. Bleeker Street? We can go to Figero...they are open pretty much all night.

That week works for me, except for Oct 13th itself, because that's my dad's birthday.
