When did you send a Thank you...

When did you send a Thank you...

to your Photographer/Videographer - did you send it out when all your photos/album/video were done or did you send it out with the rest of the TY's?

I'm just wondering, 'cause I sent all my guest TY's out back in October and my photos/album/video aren't doen yet!

Did you send TY's to all your other Vendors? And what did you write in the TY's (could I see some sample writings please)?

Thank you.

I was actually wondering the same thing. I am sending my thank you to the florist, limo company & hall now. I kinda want to do teh photgraphers now, jsut to get it over with. Really, I guess I am thankingthe photographers, and their worl is done. I suppose I should say something like, dear photographer, photographer, owwner & everyone at Silverfox. . .because I have worked with other people there, as far as questions, contracts, thank yous, etc, but really all those people, I am still
working with.

I am such a bad bride - I truly loved my vendors, but have yet to send any of them thank yous

Once I finished all my guest thank yous, I pretty much put the extras away and continually forget to do the extra ones

I sent thank yous - to the caterer, the guitarrist, the officiant, the florist, the B&B, the cake-maker.....but NOT to the DJ, the photographer, or the videographer. I was not happy withtheir service - they got tips anyway so they don't need BS thank yous from me. I refuse to be a hypocrite.

I totally agree. . . I am torn about the band. I was happy with the musicians, but not the management.
I woudl havbe nbo problem skippign it, but I received SO many compliments from guests, I want the musicians to know, but I don't know if they'll ever see it.

NOPE!! Only if YOU want to!! You no longer have to do anything just because you are 'supposed to'!!

I know I feel bad too! -- that's why I'm asking - I guess we could still send them out. Its the thought that counts, right?

Do you think its a bad idea for writing 'sorry for a late thank you....' or just send it as if it was on time?

But how do you thank the Photographer/Videographer if the finished product isn't done yet?

Re: When did you send a Thank you...

At some point, I totally lost track of which vendors, of the ones I decided to send TY's to, I actually sent to!!

I didn't send one to the studio ... I mean, they already kept one they were displaying! And I spent a good deal of time with them AFTER the wedding on different things that they knew exactly how I felt.

Re: When did you send a Thank you...

If you are happy with the service you have gotten so far, send them a thank you. Do NOT apologize ....you have up to 1 year to send them, no apology necessary. If you don't have the video and photos back yet but have liked working with them so far, say 'Thank you for your services and I have so enjoyed working with you. I look forward to receiving the finshed product and for that thank you in advance as I am sure I will be just as happy then as I have been up until now.'....or something like that, I'd say...
