When did you start feeling 'married'?

When did you start feeling 'married'?

First of all, IM MARRIED!!!!
YAY,

The wedding was great, the honeymoon was fabulous, no real disasters so I guess Im lucky.

I spent a day feeling depressed that I had nothing else to plan for, but then we moved into our coop and I can concentrate on decorating.

But as for my orig question, I still dont FEEL married. It might be bc I work days and my HUSBAND (how cool) works nights and our paths rarely cross in OUR NEW COOP (even cooler!)
So there's no cooking dinner for each other, no getting ready together in the morning, which is, I guess, why I dont FEEL married yet.

Was there a moment for you when it hit you or did you gradually grow into feeling hitched?

hmmm....maybe when we packed all our stuff into a Uhaul and moved 1,000 miles away.

Maybe when we got PG....

when we closed on our house....

I still sometimes go 'OMG, we're MARRIED!!!

I think it's when we get mail addressed to Mr & Mrs...or when other people refer to us as married...or when we travel together...

I feel married when I have to say 'My Husband is. . .

or when I see in writing Mrs. Vicki A

or I'm introduced as 'This is my Wife. . . .

It hit me when we closed on our house two weeks after the wedding. I kept signing the wrong name on the closing papers (yeah, the lawyers loved me for that).

My name was different, I had a mortgage and my HUSBAND carried me over the threshold.

I am just getting used to calling him my husband. Fiance' flowed more easily and was quicker to start saying. When I hear myself speak, I sometimes think 'OMG, I have a HUSBAND!'

Hey you bought a house!?!? Cool - congrats! Whereabouts?

For me.....um I dont know seeing as I how I didnt get my marriage license yet! But seriously probably everytime I say 'my husband' when engaging in conversation. Or when I look down at my hand and see 2 rings I am like YAY!!!!!!! I got me a husband!

About 5 months after we got married we moved out of my grandfathers basement and into our condo...that is what made me truly feel married!

I felt it on the wedding night. And everytime I have to say 'my husband....' it still feels wonderfully weird.
