The wedding was April 18, and I have not picked a Thank you pic yet.

I mailed my TYs out 6 weeks after the wedding...but I had time off to do it all...so I picked our TY right away...

I think you should try to pick one with in 2-3 weeks of getting the proofs...you order it seperately from everything else...so you don't have to decide your entire album right away

oooooooooh ok...then I will pick a thank you soon. I thought I needed to be sure about all the pics I wanted. Thanks!

I sent mine out exactly three months after the wedding. I probably should of done it sooner but didnt get around to it. What are your choices?

mine were out within 2 months of the wedding.

Heres a hint - when you tell the photographer which oic you want as your thank you, see if you can pick up the cards. Then you can start writing them out. Hopefully by the time your pics come in, everything will be written out and all you have to do is stuff and seal them.

Picking my Thank You was the first thing that we picked out... I was able to write the cards prior to receiving the pictures because I had ordered mongrammed note cards that matched my invitations.

By the time I received the pictures I was good to go to send them out- but it still took about 3 months!

I think you should do that as soon as you can. Ideally you want your TY's to go out before the three month mark.
