im at 8 weeks right now...duet said they were backed up but still i dont even have teasers and i see some teasers up of girls who got married after me..now granted they might have a diff photog but still
am i a biotch if i complain?i asked them on fb and the told me they cant give timelines for teasers
im getting kinda worried

I wouldnt be worried but I'd sure be p!ssed off! 8 weeks is way too long to get pics especially if you're only getting teasers! You should have your proofs by 8 weeks.....even before that!! I had my proofs 3 weeks after my wedding! It sounds like Duet is taking on more then they can handle!

I know the wait is a killer but let me tell you....you will not be disappointed in your photos. i have had mine for 7 months and cant pick my album cause I love them all....
THey will be worth the wait.
Email them and see if you can get an ETA on them.

I think it's justified if you call and ask for teasers or something. I mean, unless they haven't touched them at all they should be able to send you a few.

I waited about 8 weeks for mine and I got teasers at 6 weeks I think. I know they are super busy and your photog must be overlaoded but the wait is worth it. I would just stalk their site...I tried fb'ing and calling with no avail so I wouldnt bother and be patient even though it kills you.
Oh and wait till the album and video....3 months wait

i would call just to check up
but others may have gotten theres after you b/c it was a different photogrpaher and he may have not taken as many jobs as the others...

You should not be worried at all. But, if I would call them for anything it would be for the proofs! You should be getting them already! I picked mine up about 8 weeks after my wedding - in April/May - right before they started to do the teasers....
You will definitely not be dissapointed though! Every single pic of mine came out perfect and it took me until last month to pick the pics for the album and they also told me that it was their busy season so I may have to wait a little longer for them to do it.
Oh, and dont worry about being a pain...they are awesome there....sue knew my name just by my voice the second I spoke after I called a gazillion times wanting my proofs! LOL

I havent gotten my proofs back yet either, however, I was given a slideshow 3 days after my wedding with teasers. I wouldnt worry at all, my contract says 12 weeks for proofs and although I annoyed my photograher, I am not worried at all. I have complete faith in my photographer.
Duet has a great reputation, as frustrating as it is to wait, hang in there!

It’s so frustrating… originally they told me 4-6 weeks and it ended up being like 7 or 8… you get them soon!

I would call...dont come off annoyed but jsut explain that you are worried and anxious....I am sure you will have them soon. It is so hard to wait for these things!!!
