When making album selections....
I'm in the process of picking pics for the album. The album will have 75 pictures. I know the album will have primarily pics of DH and myself but maybe I'm feeling alittle narcissitic here. I've also chosen pics of bridal party and parents but almost 75 pics of myself just seems weird. How many pictures should be devoted to everyone else at the reception, dancing, eating, laughing, etc. Maybe I'm tired and just overthinking this. Any comments?

We inlcuded pictures of everyone and a handful of us. We really wanted our album to not only reflect us but to include the speacial people who helped celebrate our day. Also, I had to stop a few times because I thought the whole process got extremely overwhelming. It took me several weeks to get it all together.

I love my bridal party and the other people that were with us for the day...but I really feel the wedding was about US so there is mostly photos of us in our album. Photos of others only got included when it 'told the story' of the day.I think the best way to go about it is to pick photos that emotionally speak to you and remind you of the day.

Our friends are very important to us. We are having an entire spread in our digital album of us dancing and pictures of all our friends dancing too.
Our friends are just as important as our family and they are just as responsible for the people we are today- so I thought they should be included.
Plus- we didn't have a video- so I really wanted the entire night in the album- not just the story of 'us'.
In the end- it's your choice- if you want to include your friends and family, do so!

I have photos of us, family and friends. I want the album to represent the whole event.

When we booked our photographer, we had time to sit and count how many pictures were in the 'sample' albums. The average was 75-80. I choose 100. My theory is, it will cost more to add pictures later on (@ $25 per picture) then to have more then enough to choose from.

We have about 75 pictures in our album also and most are of us....or me and other people or DH and other people. We did have a spread of about 8 pictures of candids during the reception that had people dancing and stuff and we were not included. It's your wedding you should be in most of it : )
