When the shoes on the other foot.
As women we naturally love to gab, one topic being our wonderful husbands and the things they do to drive us nutty.Well my DH comes home last night and tells me that a mutual married friend of ours sends his regards. He then proceeds to tell me they had the best conversation about us wives and how we drive them crazy at times. He was laughing so much as he told me some of their discussion.
I was so taken aback. Has this ever happened to you? I am not mad or anything, just in utter amazement.

I can see that. I personally know that I am a pain in the a$$ most of the time and I know that he must say that all the time around his friends. It doesn't bother me though because he is telling the truth and I know he loves me the way I am.

I think I'm pretty easy going with DH, so when he has these conversations he sees how great he has it...at poker games some wives call 5-10 times...things like that...or when they go out...they get grief...I send him off wih a 'have fun' and do my own thing...

Re: When the shoes on the other foot.
I think most men discuss their wives, girlfriends etc! As a matter of fact, they talk about it more than we know. People don't think that men gossip, but when they get together in a crowd, they have a way of talking about us.I don't think it's always bad, but I think they ask each other questions like 'hey, does your wife do this and that?' (at least this is what my dh told me.)

My husband comes home and says he was talking to so and so and their wife is a pain and he is so glad he does not have those problems.I really do my best to acknowledge that I married a grown man and let him do his own thing.

I also think I am pretty easy going, I mean I have my moments, but compared some of these other women he is one lucky guy!

Re: When the shoes on the other foot.
Very funny you mention that! DH went out last night after his softball game and they were chatting away about wives and girlfriends. Honestly, it doesn't bother me a bit. I know I am very low maintenance and normal compared to many of the drama queen women out there, so my hubby has it good.
But last night, I find out he was talking with a buddy that is thinking of proposing to his gf soon and that we need to make sure we can come to Boston for their wedding. Then he added that he wanted me to be all preggo by the time that wedding comes. See..boys talk just like we do! Welcome New Vendors
