When to Send Thank Yous...

Okay am i really behind...i have not even sent my order in for my thank you card yet...when are/did most of you send them out (how many months after the date of your wedding)?

Also, how long did your thank you card order take to come in...we used Proline and i am going to call this week with the picture...

We sent our TY's out at the 5 weeks after the wedding.

We used the regular wallet size prints for our TY's. It took a week to come in after we placed the order for them.

We placed the order for our thank yous about 2 1/2 weeks after our wedding and we should be getting them any day now.

I ordered mine about 10 days ago so they shohuld be coming soon. MIL is bringing the thank you pics to us at Thanksgiving so my plan is to have them all written out and ready to mail by Thanksgiving.

I have read the etiquette that says 3 months is the latest you should send out a thank you.

I just ordered mine last week. My wedding was 9/25. I should have them in 2 weeks and once I get them I am going to write them up and send them out.

I sent out all my thank yous by the middle of October.. we were married in July (made it just under the 3 month mark)

I would have had them sooner if I didn't take so long to pick out my pic .. i had my proofs after one month, but it was my fault that i wasted so much time selecting the thank you pic

i am getting such heat from the MIL b/c I haven't sent mine out yet - got married at end of July. I am writing them right now actually. Can't undo the wrath though... : (

We are using Pro-Line and we ordered them on Tuesday. We're getting the 'greeting card' style so it's going to take longer than expected. They told us they would be in before Christmas. I'll be thrilled if I can get them out after the holiday rush.

I had hoped to have them out before Thanksgiving...but unless I write all of them tonight and tomorrow night - that isn't going to happen.

I ordered informal cards that match our invitations and those took less than 2 weeks to come in...and the wallet size TY pics took about a week to come in.
