and your DH is with you, do you give him your purse and bags to hold ?
When I mention the words shopping my DH disappears!! He hates going shopping and refuses to hold any bags.

Not usually but that is because I know he'll get distracted and put it down some place and forget where it is. He usually doesn't mind holding onto it when I ask him becasue he knows I probably am doing something that requires two hands and that he'll only be holding it for maybe at most a minute.

sometimes I will hand him my purse...if I need 2 hands...if Im looking for a size I will hand him everything he huffs and puffs until I take it back

Shopping is a VERY sacred ritual that I like to enjoy to the fullest.
DH is not big on shopping whatsoever and I LOVE that about him. He's the kinda guy that will just get whatever he likes, without trying it on b/c he knows his size and it almost always fits perfectly!
I can spend hours just browsing and walking around, he'd never be able to handle it. I love that time to myself.
Also, it's great when we're going out somewhere and I can put on something cute and surprise him with it since he hasn't seen me try it on in the store

My husband now refuses to hold my bag. He was holding it one time and someone made a comment....and He got embarrassed.
I felt bad because he got embarrassed , SO I promised I would never ask him to hold it again!

DH rather hold my stuff than me because he thinks I'm a lil careless and when I'm focusing on something importnat like shopping lol I tend to forget other things like where I leave my purse

i make DH pick up everything and look at it lol so i make sure i have my bag in my hand. he once put it down and i didnt noticed till we walked away so now I ALWAYS hold the bag lol
