Do you guys get really possessive over your RH? I had someone FM me saying all these terrible things about Atlantica that personally, I don't believe. When I see something negative about that place, I go bezerk!
Does anyone else feel this way? Am I the only one?

I don't go beserk----no matter how great a place is, people will always have something to complain about. i would probbaly defend my hall and let someone know that MY experience was great---but what can ya do?

I haven't had this experience yet and hopefully I won't! I would definitely be bummed to hear something negative about my hall considering my experience was so extremely positive! I would probably rush to defend my hall if it happens!

i don't think i would be that upset, because everyone has different experiences, although i might put in my two cents about my own experience just so that the post was balanced.

i SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wanted to get married at the atlantica... i would have if i had the amount they could fit but i had 100 more. lol. but i was and am still upset that i couldnt get married there. flowerfield was gorgsous; the food was great, service was great, i am so happy i had it there, but my first wish was the atlantica.

I don't get mad, hell I liked my hall and I still bash it from time to time. The only thing that I think would bother me would be if someone said something really really preposterous.

I dont get too upset. I mean, there were things that even I didnt love about my hall, so i can understand people complaining. If they're complaining about something that I dont think is true or something that doesnt merritt the bashing, then yes, I get defensive.

nah - i dont go crazy - i usually just say it's unfortunate and then talk about my positive experience. I think everyone has their own personal opinions and experiences..and no RH can be perfect for EVERY SINGLE EVENT. they're only human.

no its not bad... actually my inlaws even told me to CHANGE my hall after i paid/gave the deposit we had a beautifull wedding....it was fantastic! so i dont regret a thing! Dont get upset! everyone looks for different things when searching for a wedding reception site. Some places were beautiful, but i just didnt want to book them because i went to sooo many wedding there..!

I haven't really heard people bashing my hall, but if they did, I don't think I'd care too much. After all everyone has different experiences and different opinions. Plus I know I had a great experience so I'm just happy for that. If that had happened before my wedding, it probably would have stressed me out more though.

I personally haven't heard any bashing my RH, but if I did I prob wouldn't care!! I know I absolutely loved it and that's all that matters!

I've never heard anyone bashing our hall. I honestly don't think I'd be too upset because the wedding is over & I know it turned out beautifully & the hall was great. It would depend on what they said I guess. I may post & defend it if they said something I felt was untrue just to get the other side out there as well. Not hall can please every person.

an FM like that is not only rude but...weird. you already had your own fabulous experience there...what was their intention with sharing their crappy one with you? whats the point? ignore that cr@p! im sure it would annoy me slightly but id blow it off.

I think anyone who takes the time to FM someone to bash their hall has (1) a vendetta against the hall and (2) waaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands.

Depending on just how severe the criticism is, I might reply in the chat with my opinion because the people and service was so great that I hate to see a chat with negatives dissuade others from checking out the place. And that can happen. I think some girls take the comments as gospel as oppposed to thinking that there could be a range of feelings about a place. hope that makes sense.

haha...i had someone E-MAIL me on 9-11-06 (of all days) telling me NOT to get married at my place (now keep in mind they e-mailed me from my private wedding website which made me wonder how they found me)
They said they attended a wedding there & it was horrible, food, service etc, and that they found me thru a Google search which was BS....well i immediately callled the owners...they told me they had trouble with guests who had attended a wedding recently and it was probably them...stole liquor from the bar, snuck people into rooms so they didn't have to pay, etc...not to mention they STOLE my STD magnet I had given them (how they got my e-mail address) !
Needless to say I felt better but it really pi$$ed me off...i tried e-mailing them back after the wedding but their fake e-mail account was already deleted! Wanted to tell them my wedding was fabulous
