We are renting right now, but we are closing on our house in April.

We bought the house (well, HE bought the house) before we even got engaged. He closed on the house and less than a month later he proposed. It was all part of his 'plan'!

Same here except we closed about a week after he popped the question. That completely through me because I didn't think he would propose until after we closed on the house.

We're renting, and don't plan on looking for a house for a few years, until I'm no longer a full time student and actually have an income!

We live in a house I have owned for 13 years. Bought it with former fiance (well he paid for it). We never had a mortgage. He passed away 3 years after we moved in.

My DH & I are now getting ready to do some renovating including an extension.

Same here, well, not the student part, but we want to save up for a few years before we go house hunting.
