Mikasa has some really plain ones, at the outlet, they were like 25 a place settingOh wait you wanted casual - did you check Target or Ikea.

I would try Target and even Macy's. Sometimes they have sales on complete sets and you can get a service for 12 for under a $100.

Do you want china or regular dishes?I have a set of white dishes from KMART (yes, my beloved Martha) that I use for holidays, etc. when i need a lot of plates.
