DH and I put the money we received in our credit union savings account. We want to use this money one day for a house. Is there a better place we could put this money so it earns more interest in the meantime? Thanks.
It went into our savings account, and 5 months later it was our down payment for our condo!
We put it int 2 locations. We have one joint CD account where we accrue interest and the other is a joint checking account where we pay bills and write checks. Eventually, we were thinking when our CD account matures we want to move it else where.
