We are neighbors!!!! We just moved to East Islip too!! Are you my new neighbor people just moved in a few houses up from us they had a dumpster and have been hammering away all day. That would be funny

Nope! That's not us! We don't have a dumpster at our house...but there has been a lot of hammering going on this week! Slowly but surely it is getting done...

yea I'm sure you don't miss the motorcycles and quad's that people like to ride around here after midnight!! sometimes I wish we lived out on LI!!

Or the planes that fly overhead from JFK...or the friggin bus that we would constantly hear since our place was on the bus route!! Ahhh...good ol' HB! I do miss the noise sometimes!

good lord! how could I forgot those friggin planes!! I actually have to pause my phone conversations when the planes go over! oh and our house rattles just a little when the bus goes by!! I know what you mean about 'missing the noise' though, it's weird if its quiet!!....my sis just moved from W. Hempstead to Levittown- she can finally hear crickets!! she used to live right off the exit for the Southern State!! it was like being on the highway!! now she said she feels like the whole block can hear when my niece throws a fit!! they probably think she's beating her! lol
