I just sent off my dress for cleaning and preserving at www.Wedclean.com. So far the process has been smooth and customer service seems good. I should be getting my dress sent back in about 1 1/2 weeks.

ssdare, I am also considering wedclean, but I was worried about sending my dress away????

Did they offer any guarrantees or insurance?

Yes, they offer insurance. The basic price includes $100 insurance and then you can purchase additional increments of insurance. It's described in their website. Also, they use FedEx so you can track your shipment.

Re: Where has everyone gone to get their gowns preserved?

I just wanted to update my prior post regarding using Wedclean to clean/preserve my wedding dress. I got my dress back last week and am very happy with the results. There was a small tear in the organza overlay on the waist area of my dress that I asked to to see if their seamstress could fix and to give me a price quote prior to doing it as well as a description of how they would fix it. They did just as I instructed and my dress looks fine and the cost of the repair was only $25. I highly recommend them.

I made the mistake of going through the place where I got my dress, and paid more than I would have with Wedclean They did a good job though, my SIL spilled coffee on my train at the end of the night, and they got it out (three months later too). I went through Bridal Reflections.
