in 2003???

I had NO IDEA that this kid committed suicide in 2003?? I had a huge poster on my wall of him growing up The Never ending story will never be the same to me

I was just reading about him online.... says he was 27, and he hanged himself...OMG. Friends said he was very depressed over his career slowing down and his breakup with longtime girlfriend Tatyana Ali from Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Apparently they dated for 5 or 6 years!

I went to tennis camp with her waaaay back in the day-i didnt know they were dating

ok I read earlier that when it happened the family tried to keep it under wraps.

It says that a friend found him and that he died a day later from injuries sustained during this attempt-so he didnt actually die by hanging....THAT in and of itself breaks my heart

whattt??? this isn't a rumor?? i had no idea. i loved him in my teeny bopper days! when i say OBSESSED, i mean it. i had posters from magazines all over of him!

I had to read up and see why it wasnt like 'news' i know that is horrible but I mean its 2008 almost 5 years later and I had NO CLUE!!!!!!! Its horrible to think that he did this to himself and lived afterwards for a short time

i totally hear ya...im seriously shocked that i had NO idea about this. i thought it had to be rumor bc it clearly got like no coverage when it happened.

youd think, or almost hope, that he wasn't in the most clear state after that anyhow. just really sad news.but i can understand the fam not wanting alot of media coverage.

I had so many posters of him on my wall, I looooved him. I could never watch ladybugs enough. I found out a few years ago and it was like someone told me a childhood friend died I was so sad.
