i am a maid of honor in my friends wedding and i was just wondering- where was you shower held and what is a good place? i dont know of many place im trying to get some ideas.

Mine was at the Garden Grill in Smithtown. It was great. The atmosphere and food were amazing.

Mine was at the Bulldog in Amityville. We had the entire upstairs for the party. The food was GREAT and there was plenty of it!
My SILs shower was at the Irish Coffee Pub in Islip. That place was GORGEOUS!

I had my sisters bridal shower at La Grange in West Islip! It was wonderful.
I had her baby shower at the Irish Times Pub in Holbrook. The food was outreagous!! The room holds about 70 people and the price was PERFECT!!!

My shower was in Brooklyn so not any help to you. But my MOH paid for it.

My sister paid and basically organized the whole thing at the Merry Peddler on Jericho Tpke, I think it's either Floral Park or New Hyde Park.

Mine was at my moms house... I had my friends at Nicholas James in Merrick and I have one on sunday at the Blue Spruce Inn in Farmingville...Has anyone been there?
I also went to a baby shower at Ruyons in east meadow.. which was really nice...
My mom and my friedns mothers paid for their showers...

I had my sister's at the Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club in Manhassett.

Mine was at the Italian restaurant my family's been going to for YEARS in Westbury - Venere. My mother paid but I always thought the BP was supposed to pay. My BP said she would take any $$ from them!
