For me Id go with the metal but I guess depends on her decor-metal is very modern so unless she likes that style, cherry wood is probably safest.
well she is 23 and still lives at home and her bedroom is hot pink and lime green...but I want to get something that would look nice (not cheap looking) and wouldn't clash too much with her bedroom colors, but since it should last a few years and her style will probably change a bit when she moves out, I want it to be adaptable I guess...kwim?

based on this description, I would go with the interchangeable just because it can adapt when her style inevitably changes.
I like the cherry wood, but I would go with the metal b/c no matter what it will always match
Based on the colors of her bedroom, I'd go with the White or the Metal.
