Which do you prefer?

I will preface this with saying I am NOT preggo, but merely a name obsessed person. It is pretty strange I started buying baby name books at like 10 years old

Anyhow I torment DH's life with name questions, he hates most name I like

We both like Gabriella...he says he may prefer Gabrielle.

Which do YOU prefer?

I like Gabrielle better as the whole name (With Gabi as nickname)... but I like Ella as a nickname.. wow, I'm no help.. sorry

I love the name Gabriela, its my mothers name(she spells it with 1L) Might use it as a middle name bc of that

ETA: everybody calls her Gaby though. Hmmm ella thats interesting for a nickname from gabriela

DH says he doesnt like Gaby as a nickname I like it. I prefer Gabriella (I like it with one L!)

I really love Italian sounding names...DH has a strong Irish last name so he thinks it sounds silly...but I disagree

I love Gabriella but our last name ends on 'ella' so I couldn't do that to a child. lol

We are actually thinking of Gabrielle Donna as a name for a girl, Donna is DH's late aunt.

With my DH I'm like okay I get that you don't want Rocco McNamara but there is no reason we can't have a pretty Italian girl name

Yeah Gabriela is also not one of those VERY italian names so i think it would go.

I dont know why DH thinks the way he does, he says he doesnt want his kid to be lets just say Giancarlo mario Esposito lol(middle name will be mario bc thats both our dads name) he jokes about it, i think its great lol

That's cool that your dad's have the same name! I love the name Giancarlo. It goes well with your last name! I also love Luca for a boy :Both our granddad's were Thomas so that is likely our middle name .

yeah im trying to convince DH I like the name Lorenzo a lot, or at least something that is not too typical. At least the girls names we agree on, its just the boys names we disagree lol.

Nooo I relaly did have a dog named Gabby. She was the BEST dog ever.
