I always have tons of different pj sets, and I always find myself in sweats and Johns sweatshirts. Its so much more comfy than my pj's! Maybe its the thought of wearing his shirt, that has his scent on it..and it feels like hes hugging me all nite But I LOVEEE sleeping in his clothes and not my own ! especially in the winter, my pj pants ride up when I move around hate that !! and sweats usually stay put because of the band at the bottom...
what are you favorite pj's ?

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
Howdy Anna!! Well, I am the sweatpants/t-shirt queen in the winter and shorts/t-shirt queen in the summer! Then along came Joe.... the first time I went to sleep with, as he calls it, my 'getup' he was like 'are you kidding me? who goes to bed dressed?' So, I've stopped wearing my socks -- at least he can't complain about that!!! I think that's a fair compromise, don't you?

I MUST MUST sleep with socks, even in the summer. the extra thin cotton socks. Unless its NO AC weather, then no socks. But winter or summer w/ AC, I must wear socks - feels so cozy ! Joe is too funny !! DRESSED ? Hey sweats and sweatshirts are loungewear ! I wear a t-shirt all day in the house, but when it comes to sleep, I MUST have long sleeves on in the winter.

I am a Pjs type.. i LOVE new pjs.!! i have all kinds, silk, cotton...shorts pants ., fleese, ect..
I love to wear comfy socks around the house but once i get into bed i take them off,, i cant sleep with them on, sometimes if i am really tired and i fall asleep with them on, i wake up the next morning to make the bed and they are in the blankets.. i guess i even take them off in my sleep!!
As soon as i get home i am in my pjs!! no matter what time 5pm 6pm!!! on Sat. i was in my pjs at 330!!!!

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
I need to sleep in the least restrictive clothing possible, while still maintaining a comfortable body temperature. For example, on a night like tonight I will most likely get into bed in loose sweats, socks, and Patrick's x-tra large t-shirt, and fall asleep. Then my darling hubby, the space heater, will come home and get into bed, raising the temp by about 40 degrees, and I will strip and drop clothing onto the floor until I am just wearing the t shirt. I can't be hot while I sleep, and I can't wear any tight clothing. Lingerie is out of the question too, because I usually wake up with 1 boob hanging out of the arm hole, which is so NOT comfy...

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
I need to have clothes on when I go to bed also. I totally agree with you Anna, I NEED a long sleeved shirt on in the winter. We have central air so basically my pajamas don't change from winter to summer, LOL but if I didn't have AC, I could go to bed with shorts and a shirt. Gary goes to bed with underwear on only and I am like holy crap, aren't you COLD!!

Jenn Renee...ROTFLAMO! I would love to have enough boobige to let one just hang out of my sleeve! I need to wear a tank top and my thong. That's it. Winter, spring, summer or fall. That's my gettup!

Kelly, you are cracking me up with the use of the word boobige!!!
Now my next question is how on earth do you sleep in a thong?? I need to change into full butt 'wears every night or can't sleep!

The responses here are hilarious !!
Jenn with your boob hanging out and everyone that can sleep only in underwear, how do you do it ? and I MUST wear cotton. hate silk or statin. Too restrictive, doesnt stretch...not for me !
and the thong would bother me too !
LOLL

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
Jenn Renee... I only wear thongs! To me, they feel the most comfortable. It did take me some getting used to at first. My DH LOVES that I wear thongs to bed. Often I wake up in the middle of the night with him petting my a**! (sorry if that was a bit too graphic!) Well, as I said, I wish I had boobs big enough to fall out of my top. I guess I just have to flaunt my stuff with the thong!

LOL to the a$$ petting comment!! As for me, thong by day, full butt at night... couldn't do it any other way! Patrick wishes I'd sleep naked though...

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
I just cant sleep in anything. Every article of clothing annoys me when I am tossing and turning.
If its cold I just use extra blankets and if its hot well then I just pray that I am UNDER the covers if my son decides to walk in.. heheh

I just read this thread & you guys are funny!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a PJ pants & tee girl-In the summer Rich's boxers(one's he doesn't like)& a tank top. If we have no kids @ home I might start off in something sexy & then freeze my butt off all night! I like to be hot when i sleep!

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
Im more a tee shirt and flannel pants. I cant wear heavy sweats to bed, because I get all twisted and feel uncomfortable. In the summer time I could just wear a tank top, well and of course undies

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
I'm a PJ's type of person myself. On these cold nights the last few weeks I've been wearing my flannels. Although I can't sleep with any PJ bottoms anymore - it's too warm in bed with the two of us, so I usually just use the top and sleep in my undies. I also have satin PJ's, and Victoria's PJ's that are a tank top and cotton pants which are really comfy. Those I can wear the full set since my arms are exposed and I guess that keeps me cool all night long.

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
t-shirts & underware for me, b/c I have JennRenee's prob ... pretty lingerie is NOT made for women with D-cups. So annoying. I wish I could wear those cute Victoria's tanks ... with the spaghetti straps in the summer ... but those only cover about 2 square inches of my boob ... I'd be better off naked.

I wear a big t-shirt, I try to wear the sexy stuff but halfway through the night, Im hanging all out of it and its not very comfortable. Harry tells me to stop spending $$$ on them and just sleep naked!!
I was LMAO reading all of your comments!!

Re: While we're on the topic of sleep...
Lately I've worn nightgowns to bed because I get too hot. Most often I am wearing whatever raggy thing is lying around- sweats, shorts, tank top. I try to make a point to wear nice things to bed now that I am married, but that does not always work out!
When I got married I also threw out a lot of raggy looking bras and panties and tried getting nice VS or designer ones that match. That does not always work out either!
