A friend of mine recently told me that her photographer mentioned that MOST studios have the secretary help brides/grooms design their album, or you have to just leave the proofs you like with the photographer and they design it for you- without your input. I found that very strange. I also know that most of my friends proofed their album pages BEFORE they were finalized and produced. What has been your experience with this? I KNOW Mark Kauffman does not have his reception help design albums, and that we proof ALL of our pages so that we can make changes if necessary. Opinions on this would be very helpful.

Valenia, my photographer was not one of the cheap photographers. I paid alot and still havent done my enlargements yet. I had looked at 12 photographers before I booked this one. I saw many photographers that for 2000 dollars gave you plenty. I wanted quality and not quanity. I never thought that I would be treated the way I was when I stated my disappointment.

Cindy, I don't want to post the name of your photographer, as I don't want to be accused of bashing, but I think I know who you used, and I am SHOCKED and disappointed. They were the first photographer we looked at and I loved their work. They had gorgeous pictures of Flowerfield, and I was so sad that they were booked on our date.
Your pictures are stunning, but I guess quality service does not end with the proofs. I'm so sorry you are disappointed.
We get to proof our album as well...to make sure everything is correct before the final setting...
Cindy...I am sorry about your album...I know who you used and they were my 2nd choice...I would have thought they would have treated you like a princess...again Im sorry...do you get the proofs?

Cindy - I am SO sorry to hear that, and I can relate. I've had a terrible experience with my videographer, who was pricey. **HUGS*** I hope you've told whoever recommended them about your experience.

We also did our own album. Hubby helped pic out what pics to put in, and I designed the pages, and the collage pic we have in our album!!!
I agree. You paid a lot of $$ so they should accommodate you until you are SATISFIED, otherwise they are not good salesman. You are the customer. Im not one who opens my mouth about things, but when it came to our wedding, and us paying for some stuff, I had A LOT to say!!! This was your special day, and your album is your most cherished memory. I would take it back, and sit down with someone until you are HAPPY!!! Good Luck!!

Cindy, I don't think you should take it like that. If you are not happy you should speak up. That is not right at all. I remember you speaking so highly of them. What kind of customer service is that? You have kept so quiet about it, you could be a real you know what and tell everyone here. You are too good to them. You should call them up and see what they can do, that is not right at all. You paid your hard earn money. You have your album for the rest of your life as your memories, why should it be one that you are not pleased with. Speak up about it. I hope something Positive comes out of this for you. *HUGS*
