ME I really do love having holidays here and cooking but now I know why I never saw my mother or the hostess on holidays....because they had so much work to do and couldn't sit down

I'm making a nice meal, but it's just for me and dh. I'm making ham, sweet potato casserole with a pecan crust, deviled eggs, yeast rolls and garlic and green beans and I made a homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing and homemade whip cream filling.... mmmmm

Scott & I planned on it...then my mom called...so late lunch was by her...now Scott has taken complete control of the kitchen.

my cousin had the whole family over. Her husband is a great cook, she really got a good one ! They sent me home with ham, lamb, potatoes all that good stuff
