first--i hate you for leaving at 3

second-- on the ella ella comment. they are soooooooooooooooooo easy to make--the only part that ***** is that you have to make them a day in advance for best results.

1 pkge of whole milk mozz
1 cup of italian flavored breadcrumbs
3/4 cup of parmesean cheese
about 3-4 eggs

cut the mozz in 4'x1/2' slices. then dip the cheese in the beaten eggs (i like to put a little salt & pepper in the eggs with a hint of parmesan), and let the excess egg drip back into the bowl and then roll in breadcrumbs.

just repeat the process at least once. (i triple bread them) and then put them in a single layer in your freezer overnite--then cook them up the next day in hot oil. roll them instead of turning them to cook them evenly--since if you wait for one side to cook, it might get too hot!

i kid you not--they tasted like the best ones i've ever had when i made them a few weeks ago!

Mmmm, I can almost taste those mozzerlla sticks now. How do you make them anyway? Does it involve Polly-O cheese sticks because I love that sheeet. (I must have posted at the same time as you. I'm definitely going to have to try that recipe!)

Tonight: My mom and step-father are coming down and we're going to a new restaurant called Cerviche. Surprise, surprise, they have 10 different kinds of cerviche on the menu!

Tomorrow: DH's BM has a crab fest at his parent's house in PA every year. They get a ton of MD crabs and we pretty much pick our way through the day.

Sunday: We're driving home and not doing anything!

Don't you love how my whole weekend revolves around food?

Oh is that the secret freezing them!!!!! I made them once and they fell apart in the fryer. Thanks I will def use your recipe next time! My real plans for the weekend:
Tonight: Go over and do some work on our house for a few hours. Then later tonight start cleaning and packing up at the apartment.
Saturday: DH is working a double so I have the whole day to myself. More cleaning and moving the small stuff.
Sunday: Move the big stuff from the apartment in the morning. In the evening we are going to dinner and to see the Simpsons (not Jessica and Papa Joe)
Monday: The vicious cycle starts again!!

I think I'm already dead from boredom......my ghost is typing at this point. I'm one of 4 people in the office today and I can't leave early because I was dumb and made plans in Manhattan tonight ! Doesn't make sense to go all the way home and come back !

That used to happen to me all the time when I worked in an office! It's ***** to be one of only a few folks there..

What are your plans this eve?

3 more hours till the wknd---when will the lambs stop screaming???

i think i want the wknd to be here--so it means its next week already---and my niece is coming up from virginia. she's 15 so she's at an age where i can hang with her and be the super cool Titi who lets her see an R-rated movie.
