Well ladies I think its that time I had tons of fun but DH will be wakingup soon and wont be happy if im not getting some rest before the kiddies wake up !! I hope everyone has a nice day tomorrow house hunting and clothes shopping good night sis and cuz

If I don't reply to FMs some of the 08ers start posts saying how awful people are who don't respond to their FMs!

Wow, there are other people up at this time??? I woke up an hour ago and haven't been able to get to sleep so I came to the living room to watch tv.

Feeling ok - but seriously why can't I go to sleep? LOL. I feel like I should start cleaning or something - to be productive.

I already put away the dry dishes, put away the things I bought earlier... if I do some of the cleaning now, I don't have to worry about it later today... but alas I'm being lazy

Yeah, it happened right after we got back from our Honeymoon .... some girls had sent FMs asking for info about my invitations & how i made the bows, etc.

I was exhausted & in a lot of pain, and could barely sit up much less sit at the computer to respond to FMs ....

They sent the FMs like the week of my wedding, and were upset when it was 2 weeks later and I hadn't responded! Duh!

So they started this whole thread about how obnoxious it was when people don't respond to FMs ....

I sent a whole long explanation of the pain I was in and gave them the info they were looking for.

Most of them never said thank you.

That IS rude!!!!!! They probably never said TY because they felt silly for having gotten upset considering you had just gotten married and were in so much pain!!!

I hear ya, sister! I have not been able to fall asleep before 4:00 this week .... it *****!

I might just be overtired at this point ... hopefully I'll crash eventually

OK so DH and I want to lose some weight. We both feel like our clothes fit too tight so this past week I bought us a lot of fruits and veggies to eat and I started measuring out our food so we can control our portions. I'd like to lose 20 lbs by my friend's destination wedding in November - losing 2.5 lbs a month would get me there.

Well, today I went to Sharper Image and bought us a scale... just took it out of the box and weighed myself

I am so much heavier than I thought I was!!!!!!! It's my period week so I might be up an extra lb or two, but still! Now I feel like I should try to lose 30 lbs for my friend's wedding. I'll take any loss at this point, but yikes!

I have NO idea how much I weighed at my wedding - I didn't want the stress of the number on the scale to drive me crazy... but I have a feeling I've gained about 15 lbs since the wedding, and I was already 20-25 lbs over what I wanted to be!

Oh and nevermind that the docs have all told me that if I lose some weight and strengthen my core, it could help my back issues. Ugh.

I definitely NEED to get back to eating healthy again. I've been pretty good with my fruits & veggies for the last week, but its really hard because I'm so physically inactive right now ...

Lifting the container of juice in my fridge hurts, so I doubt I could do any sort of real exercise at this point.

Before the wedding I did the Jenny Craig thing .... it worked at first, but it was really hard to not cook & eat with DH. I don't think it was healthy either, eating all that processed food all the time.

I'll probably go back to the WW way of eating soon .... that should help, even if I can't get activity in for now.

Yeah, I fell asleep on the sofa at 10pm and woke up at 2:30am. Went to bed but couldn't go to sleep!!! So I've been up since then. So annoying.

I actually did WW a few years ago and lost 50 lbs on it! I used to be FATTTT - lol, I'm still fat, but I used to be fatter! lol. After I lost those 50 lbs (I had lost 13 before I started WW! so it was 63 lbs), I then gained 20 lbs when I got a bad case of tendonitis and plantar fasciitis - I couldn't walk for 2 months! I had to take a cab to and from work, use a cane, and basically just sit at a desk for 8 hours and then sit at my sofa or in bed. Virtually no physical exertion/exercise for 2 months and I gained 20 lbs. I was so frustrated, but I was never really focused enough to get back on WW.

So I'd like to try to do WW again, but on my own this time. Trying to save the $40 a month charge, but if I can't do it on my own, I'll rejoin to go to meetings. We'll see.

I can imagine how hard it is for you to not be able to do much because of your pain! If you eat healthier though and start WW, I'm sure it would help!
