who does the cooking in your households - you? Dh? shared?
right now my butt is on the couch while DH is cooking - since we have been trying to avoid eating out or take out we've been alternating nights and it's been AMAZING! but I am totally type A about cooking so have to go by the rule that if he is cooking I have to SHUT UP about it!

I do...DH barely knows how to make toast! I'm afraid he would burn the house down so I don't mind cooking. I also do the cleaning bc I don't want his breaking the dishes.

it's so cool, both of us share the responsibility. we both have things we like to make each other and it works out so well! i never imagined i'd have that since my parents (and i LOVE them) are like right out of the 50s in terms of 'gender roles'... but my dh and i are always having fun in the kitchen! :o)

We share the cooking. Who ever gets home first cooks. On weekends we often cook together. I am picky so DH tries really hard to make sure I like what he cooks.

Me, but I LOVE to cook. When he's home he always helps. And always helps clean up afterwards.

Both of us!!! We both love to cook! I teach DH all my recipes and how to cook them together. Then he basically learns how to make it reaaaaallly well and better than me and cooks it for me!!! Hahaha. We split the cooking for sure. And if one cooks, the other cleans.
Maybe this is what I need to do! Sometimes he cooks really well but sometimes I hate it and don't want to be ungrateful but sit there thinking ughh
This is EXACTLY why I took the time to teach him each step! We did it all together! His cooking on his own wasn't always great, and I showed him a lot of basics. He's great now!!! Some things were pretty bad!! But now he's amazing!!!

DEF MY HUSBAND......I don't know where anything is or if I do know where and what it is, I probably don't know how to use it.
The only 2 items I ever touch in our kitchen are my frappe maker and my soda maker.

Wow you ladies have it good. I do most of the cooking.....when I feel like cooking. DH bbq's in the summer and like Azaila's hubby my DH can make a mean grilled cheese.....other then that he doesn't cook.....or clean for that matter! I'm starting to think I need to smack my MIL for not raising him to cook or clean!

If you count heating things up or boiling water then DH cooks other than that its me and his mom that cooks.

We share. We both love to cook! He gets home before me on weekdays (if he works the day shift) so he usually will start dinner unless its something I specifically said I would cook... and I always cook a big meal on weekends.

ME!!! But DH does help allot. If I left him instructions I am sure he can do it from watching me all the time.

Re: who is the cook at your house
I love to cook so I cook more often but DH is a really good cook too......so he does sometimes. I guess we share cooking during the week but I always like to make big meals on the weekends.
