Who said I love you first?

He did. And guess what I said - 'Thank you!' He still makes fun of me for that one. He just kinda caught me by surprise and I never really thought about love at that point. I did say it two weeks later

Well....I dont remember who actually said it first, but I remember riding int he car with him and I said to him that I felt like saying I love you, but it felt like it'd be too soon to say it. And he agreed that he felt like saying it too

he did.. told me 8 months into our relationship. needless to say- we dont rush into things... plus, I knew he was sincere, not just emotional

DH told me the same way!! We were walking to get a carry out after leaving the pub with a group of our friends. They were ahead of us. Dh told me to slow down then he said I love you and I said no you don't!!

OMG I'm the only one who said it first?! I promised myself I wouldn't be the first but I couldn't take it anymore! Here we were, bawling our eyes out saying goodbye at the airport and it seemed silly not to say it. He was a little scared to go there cuz we were doing the long distance thing in the beginning- but he got over it.

It is awesome that you said it first! I believe in saying it when you feel it. The only reason I said it after DH is b/c I had to stop and think about my feelings. I was young...and he is my first and only love

You aren't the only one who said it first. I said it first too.

I kinda said it first...it was our first Christmas Eve together and DH came over to give me my present...a diamond heart pendant and necklace which I never expected. When I saw it I couldn't hold back anymore and I said I love the necklace and person who gave it to me...and he looked at me and said 'I love you' I always tease him that I sorta said it first lol

DH did and I MISSED IT!!!

He threw it into a long paragraph he was saying and kept going after that part. I just assumed that I misheard him. About an hour later, I finally worked up the nerve to ask him if that's what he said.

I did...and 2 weeks later he said it...hehe

Then he put on the biggest smile ever and turned all red and was like good b/c i love you too!

DH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I didn't say I love you back.......I was just reallly not prepared so I said 'Thanks' and he looked crushed....it was actually sort of awkward.
