OK well I just got 4 positive hpt. Of course I didn't believe just one or two. First dr's visit is the 28th. Question for those that are there or have been there what can I be doing now to make sure everything goes OK. I can't believe it...............we weer only trying for 2 cycles. Didn't think it would happen so quickly.

Congrats!! May you have a healthy journey into motherhood. Eat heathly. Sleep when you are tired, If you have to strain to lift something DONT!! Follow your dr's instructions and if you have any questions ASK ASK ASK!!!! And most of all enjoy it!!!

egreen! Congratulations and best wishes for a happy and uneventful nine (really ten) months of pregnancy bliss!
While you're waiting to go to the doctor, start taking an over the counter prenatal vitamin everyday. Your doc should give you a prescription one at your first visit. Also, remember to get plenty of rest, avoid caffeine (if possible, or just limit to one cup a day), eat plenty of fruits, veggies and protein, take a folic acid supplement once a day and be happy! For laughs, I recommend reading 'A Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy' - it's a hoot!
Motherhood is wonderful and scary all at the same time. Once the baby arrives, your heart will forever walk outside your body. It's the most vulnerable you could ever be, but it is so amazingly worth it! Best wishes to you!

Congratulations! I was laughing out loud because I too got a + result but took not 4, but 12 tests! I then got my blood results, and that too was positive, so what did I do? Bought 5 more boxes of HPT tests! I swore to my DH no more though! My first drs appoint is on the 9th. Good luck to you!

Congratulations!! What a wonderful blessing!!!! Definitely start taking some sort of vitamins until you can get the prenatal prescription. Once you get that prescription, put the bottle somewhere that you will remember to take it every day. I have mine on my desk at work so I can have it with my breakfast in the AM. Also, be very gentle with yourself, your body is in such a delicate state in the beginning so make sure you aren't lifting heavy stuff and start now getting plenty of rest. In the next few weeks, you will find that you will have no choice but to rest - LOL my first trimester I didn't have morning sickness (Thank God!) but I was definitely more tired than I've ever been in my life so honor what your body is telling you and relax. I too was surprised at how quickly we conceived, we were trying for one cycle...now our little baby will be here in about 7 weeks
