i'm working till 5

right now i'm at the point where i've entered all the info into the computer for almost all my taxes i have on my desk---BUT i can't finish them because the fuking numbnuts clients of mine come in with their papers and i ask them 10000034383742890472034723047 times 'this is it right? you don't have any other W-2s, 1099s, dividends, interest statements?' and they always say 'Yes' with an annoyed 'yeah b*tch i told you this already you silly whore' and then...magically they go home and call me and say 'oh--um--yeah i just found x , y , and z----sorry'

i have had to shred about 200 sheets of paper so far in the past week because of this ---cause:

1. idiot 21 year old loser husband of my 45 year old female client -- can't remember that he worked EIGHT jobs this year not FIVE

2. stupid couple forgets they have TWO mortgages on their home and therefore 2 mortgage interest statements

3. client forgets about that huge azz amount of money in their savings account they never touch---that has accumulated like $1K in interest thru the year and just got the papers

4. 'oh i forgot---can we add the kid we had this year? totally forgot to mention that---even though you obviously asked me that question when i was giving you my info'

the list goes on and on



sorry this turned into a vent. lol

I am nervous about doing my taxes this year since so much has changed. WillI get much of a rebate on new windows in the house? I can't find the receipt

well most home improvements aren't really tax deductible-unless you are using the home as an office as well--they are good for when you one day want to sell the house and you can produce the receipts of all the things you did to update and improve the home

She actually sent an email thru myspace to her bfs ex gf saying she was going to wrap a pipe around her neck that kind of shiit can get you jail time

well most home improvements aren't really tax deductible-unless you are using the home as an office as well--they are good for when you one day want to sell the house and you can produce the receipts of all the things you did to update and improve the home

My dad said something about them being energy efficient so we would get a rebate. I put them away in July when we bought them but now I can't find them I put them in a really good safe place.

I would be the person that calls you after I give you all my stuff to tell you I forgot something. I am annoying but when I apologize I say i'm sorry I'm so annoying so i feel like that makes me less annoying. Does that technique work?

you might qualify for an energy efficient rebate--i'll look and see if there is a form for that.

if you don't qualify-- definitely search for the receipt and keep it. when you go to sell your own -- you can state that the windows increased the cost basis of the home and you helped add value to it--which is great for trying to gain more equity in the home and obviously sell it at a higher price than what you paid.


okay--no i must enter all FOUR mortgage interest statements of my new client into the computer.
