We where suspose to have off on friday then like month ago, the main office sends an email stating its mandatory we are open on friday. I work for an insurance office, come on now

I don't it , because there is nothing really going on here, we are all just sitting around like dumb as*'s

I am here - hoping to leave around 5 (I work until 6 normally). My boss is on vacation and it's slow, and he will probably call and tell me to leave early anyhow. I came in at 10 (technically we start at 9, but it's just me and my boss and normally we get in around 9:30) because I went to DMV to get my new license with my new name .... and I plan on taking a long lunch so that I can go home, eat, maybe even do some laundry ... and then get my nails done.

Friday -- I was supposed to be working from home / 'off' ... but our biggest client dropped a bomb on me and said we need to produce two new radio commercials for them by FRI PM. It's being recorded today and the sound guy will mix it on Friday -- which means I definitely have a few hours of coordinating to do. I may still try to do it from home, or I may come here at like 12 for a few hours. I hope to get to Walt Whitman Mall in the AM to go to sephora and a few other stores ... we'll see ...

Dayum that really s u c ks, hope you get it taken care of today and hope it doesnt burn a hole in your pockets. Does it hurt? Or is it just uncomfortable?

no it hurts - not like crazy throbbing pain, but i cant eat anything and it hurt when i brushed my teeth my face is a little bit swollen too
