In your relationship is there one of you who is considered the more 'outgoing' one?
I tend to be shy around people I have just met and get nervous when I have to be in social situations where I hardly know anyone. My dh is the total opposite. He will talk to anyone, anywhere...never nervous at all. Therefore I think he is definately considered the more outgoing one of the couple.
It doesnt really bother me but I feel like my hubby is mr. president like in the neighborhood and hardly anyone even knows my name..although I have to admit, we even each other out cause I know when to tell him to shaddup...and he knows when to tell me that I am being way too quiet. Anyone else?

Most people think I am just on first impressions, but DH is more of a people person. I am very anti social- I am loner. I keep to myself alot.

I am MUCH more outgoing than my DH. He is very shy and into meeting new people. Me on the other hand you can't shut up : ).

I think we are equally outgoing, but neither one of us is REALLY outgoing... I guess we're more outgoing than shy... I guess it depends

Definitely ME!!! He's very quiet when he first meets people. I don't know if you noticed, but I'm not like that!!!

We both are pretty outgoing, but if I had to chose one that was more...I would say it was him. He is so social and such a people person. People just seem to be drawn to his warm personality....It's one of the reasons I love him so much.

Me, my hubby says I speak enough for the both of us. Hubby tends to be pretty shy

DH strikes up convos anywhere anytime and with anyone...my little social butterfly. I guess its just his nature. I'm semi-shy when it comes to meeting people though

I have difficulty in social situations. My own insecurity always makes me think that people will not like me. If I am totally comfortable then I will talk up a storm. Everyone always loves DH though he is more reserved then me.

My husband is way, way more outgoing than I am. I am quiet and shy (ask those who have met me). He can be in a room for 2 minutes and be in the middle of a conversation and know everyone's name. Me???? I sit in the corner and watch everyone else. I have always been a loner and do far better with one or two people rather than in a big group.

He is sooo much more outgoing than I am. He can talk to anyone. I am really shy until I get to know people better.

My DH will talk to anyone, anywhere. He calls salespeople across the store by their names. He will strike up a conversation on the train, in the store, at the dr office. Social butterfly. I am a little more reserved, though once I get to know someone I can talk all day long!

Same here. I thing DH gets his ease in dealing with people all the time. He tells me it's trying to convince people he is not a slimy used car dealer that makes him so people friendly.
I on the other hand am very shy and take a long time to warm up. My shyness has lead some people I have just met to think I am a snob.
