just popping in to say hi... I'm on my lovely little vacation in not so sunny Maryland.

Were going to go to the Yankee/Orioles game but it is pouring... Now to keep an (almost) 8 year old occupied.

hope ya'lls is doing well.

I'll have a full report of my trip complete with previously researched itinerary, photos etc etc when I get back.

(or maybe I won't, just visiting my god children, being lazy and eating LOADS of cr@p)

1. why are you posting on vaca? Go keep the lil man occupied...

2. I would love a review. We're heading down to MD in a few weeks for an extended weekend to help my SIL move to her new college apartment

3. more importantly, did you go to the beach? Did you go shopping? Do you have lotsa pics?!?!

you want highlights? You get highlights:

7 hours in the car, JUST to get to the annapolis area (where my sister lives, which is USUALLY a 3 1/2 hour drive)
--took us over an hour to get out of my neighborhood in queens due to a 'brush fire' - (there are *brushes* in queens?)
--of course the belt pkwy su x donkey balls
--Staten Island equally s ux
--hit the NJ tpke RIGHT in the heart of rush hour. s ux but not as much as SI

no beach, but the weather was beautiful yesterday.. drove ANOTHER hour and 1/2 to my brothers in western VA (not to be confused with WEST VIRGINIA.. he lives in Leesburg, which is beautiful)

spent the day at my nephew's 1st bday party, surrounded by so many beautiful babies it made my uterus ache..

Had only one beer b/c my mother got sauced and I was the responsible one who would drive home..

Had to ween my son off my brother's Wii.. He's currently taking Methodone for the relapses.

Took over 200 photos with my Nikon d40x (yes, a name drop)
I'll post some soon, my babies are gorgeous little people.

Mom, sis & I rule at laying on the couch, watching bad reality shows and good chick flicks and eating TONS and TONS of c-r-a-p

Sister is PG so it makes it harder to eat healthy while I'm here

People in MD are weird. I went into a Deli this morning and asked for a LG coffee with one sugar & half n half.

she thoguht I meant HALF decaf... HALF regular.

where in MD is your sister going to be? This is like my second home... Sister lived all over B-more, and now is near annapolis... it's really beautiful and TONS to do. (but we're not doing it!!)

Your weekend is WAAAAY better than mine though we did go to a friends house to watch the UFC fight last night, whoo hoo!

She lives *right* off campus.. Shes moving a block away.. So annoying..Pack for 2 hours, drive 45 seconds, unpack for 2+ hours

The only place we're dying to go to is Maggianos
