Why I Love My Husband....

This is why I love my husband today.

Yesterday I was an idiot.

I leave work, go to school in Newark, head to the parking garage after class and... ... ... I have no keys. I am FREAKING OUT. I immediately call my DH and he gets to Newark in 15 mins. flat (gotta love the police training). He doesn't complain, he doesn't scold, nothing. I'm frazzled. My keys have EVERYTHING from my parents to our keys, etc. Plus I have his badge on it. They are not something to be lost.

I get into work today and THANK YOU ST. ANTHONY they are sitting on my desk.

So, I am thankful for my husband today for getting me out of a jam, telling me it's no big deal (it IS a big deal!) and for feeding me hotdogs and coming to Newark in 15 mins flat...esp. when he had to go BACK to Newark an hour later.

I love my husband because yesterday I told you 'no you are not buying the star wars cartoon dvds, you do not need them for your collection' and he actually listened.

On a more serious note, he is also very sweet about if I forget something at home, and has brought things to me at work on more than one occasion.

Granted... work is only about a mile away from where we live, but still, it's the thought, not that fact that it takes little effort.

. . . because he is essentially supporting me right now while I finish my degree. Plus he's helping me pick out my first car and whenever I complain about $$ he calls it a 'family' investment. I love that!

I love my husband because he was ordered to work night tour because of what is going on in the world....he Is totally cranky and I have not seen him in days.

Yesterday a good friend of mine who also lives in my town was in a Jam and needed me to watch her baby. I could not be there until 4:30...that Was too late....SO I called my DH and asked him if he would sit with the baby until i got there....he did not even hesitate and said 'sure! I will see you when you get there'. THE man was on no sleep and was willing to watch my friends 9 month year old!

I feel so lucky!

So tonight I made him Brownies! He will see them when he gets home at 5AM!

Ahhh Leese, I LOVE this post!

I love my husband because he remembered to pick up my shoes (for Conigs wedding tomorrow) w/o me reminding him. Stupid, but cute - he just called me at work and said, 'so I think they shoes came out really good.'

I love him because he referred to us as a family the other night. I love that.

I love my husband today because he made sure we could quickly see eachother in Penn Station this morning....love a man in uniform!

And I love him because he works really hard and told me that we can go on vacation even though I am the poorest I have ever been!

I love my husband today because he stayed up all night fixing up the living room. He is working on like 5 hours sleep for the past 3 days. And that is 5 hours total.

I love my husband today because we have had a crazy week- moving into a new house, both very busy at work etc. and oday he sent me an e-mail saying that he is really looking forward to spending the weekend with me. I love it that our relationship means so much to him that he makes a point of letting me know how much he cares.

I love my husband because today for some reason I was in a very bad mood and was yelling at him (for no good reason), and then suddenly burst into tears, and he just held me and made me feel better. He knew what was bothering me before even I did. Sometimes I think he knows me better than I know myself. I love him for that, too.

Today I Love my husband because last night he ate the NOT SO GREAT dinner I made for him. I tried, but it was a flop. I wouldn't eat it, but he did!

I love my Husband today and everyday, because he makes me laugh. I can be a crab-a** at times or in a sour mood and he'll come right over and play / tickle me. He turns my frown upside down.

Sometimes, he'll leave me little love notes. A few weeks a go he left a note on the bathroom mirror, saying 'mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the prettiest pig of all.....you my piggy.' He leaves me notes in my car and tosses them in my pocket book. I wouldn't trade his charm for anything.

I love my husband because I know that he would do absolutely ANYTHING to make me happy. He puts me first at ALL times. I have 100% trust and faith in him and his love!!!!
