UPDATE: So its not my appendix and all my major organs look all right except a tiny lesion on my pancreas that is so little they don't think its anything to worry about.
So now its on to the GI, looks like I will be getting a colonoscopy.
Tomorrow I am making another attempt to figure out why I am having pains in my left side.... originally thought it was gyno related, its not. Then they said diverticulitis but 10 days of antibiotics later and I am still in agony. It hurts especially bad after I eat so I have been on a pretty much all liquid diet for days. I am getting really freaked out now. Not to mention I finally got called to sub a few times last week and couldn't, because I have been in so much pain I am doubled over on the couch, which is not good for my future.
Say some prayers that I get an answer tomorrow.

Oh No! I actually had something similar to you last year. Got a bunch of tests. Nothing. One day, it disappeared. I hope it's minor for you like it was for me! Good luck and keep us updated!

Good luck! Did they rule out your gallbladder? My sister had to have hers removed a few years ago. For weeks, they insisted she was fine despite having terrible pain when eating and a family history of gallbladder problems. They finally had to do a special test where they put some kind of dye into the gallbladder to test its function. Finally, they removed the gallbladder and she was fine.
I hope they figure out what's ailing you and treat it very quickly!!!!

my dear friend I hope everything is ok - FM or FB me later to let me know how you made out. I know how scary the unknown can be. Last year they thought I had some sort of blockage in my stomach b/c of such severe pain & distended stomach so they sent me for emergency cat scan & nothing - then I was scheduled for endoscopy where they found my stomach literally covered in mini-ulcers. Plus they found a spot on my esophagus during the scope & did biopsy for cancer - holy moly the waiting for those test results! Thankfully no cancer - but I do have to go for a yearly scope to make sure it doesnt develop into anything - Barrett's esophagus its called - has pre-cancerous tendencies...blech...
Anyway - just wanted to let you know Ive sort of been where you are & I know how scary things can be - but we are here for you!

good luck. I know how awful that place is too to just not know. . I went through something recently that turned out to be not at all as bad as I thought but in that time that we did not know and I just felt sick and worried all the time - it was awful. . awful. . so big hug out to you and hope you both find out what it is AND more importantly that it's nothing big!!!

DH had is appendix removed emergency style and he had no pain on his right side. He had it on his left and his mid-abdomen....good luck and i will be thinking of you!!

So I am waiting the result of the CAT. I am assuming if it was my appendix they wouldn't keep my sitting 6 hours waiting to hear. So I am guessing its something else.
