Are on this board more often. (I have Posted this in the Past on the 2007 Boards.)
Some of the New Brides did not even know the Newlywed Board exisisted. I think it should be posted right out front, and not just a drop down When I come on LIW I check here First. I feel like I Outgrew the 2007 Boards. I go on LIF also, but I feel like I don't fit in yet. I just wish this Board would start Jumping I know there are ALOT of us Married Ladies out there..... I'll join in (although I am almost not a newlywed anymore) .
I'm Betty and I have been married for 357 days. I already changed my name, did my album and picked up my video.
We recently put an offer on a home which was accepted and we hope to sign the contract next week.
Only thing I have left is to get ready for my anniversary trip to Mexico, and start trying for the

Hi my name is Allison and I have been married 99 days! We have our thank yous, just haven't written them out yet, we just designed our album (probably won't see it for another seven months) and my gown is being preseved as we speak. I changed my name, only thing left to change my name on is my passport. Married life is pretty good!

Ok I feel lke I STILL don't fit in on LIF esp. since we don't live on LI...I am jean and have been married 727 DAYS...second anniversary is Monday! I love this board especially since my sister is an 07 bride and I like helping her with wedding stuff since she helped me tremendously!

Aww great idea for a thread!
I have been married 266 Days 0 Hours 51 Minutes 28 Seconds and I have loved every minute of it! I agree. I wish this thread would get a little more exciting. I feel like everyone goes straight over to LIF after they get married, but I have lurked on that board, but I agree that I don't really fit in there.

DH and I recently bought a house on LI (Lindenhurst). We bought the hosue from my dad when he moved to Mass to live with his girlfriend. I was born and raised on LI (on the north shore) and DH was born and raised in NJ. We met in College in CT. We are very excited to be homeowners and we have been spending a lot of time our house (it needs some work). My favorite hobby is chatting with the other LIW brides!

You're just waiting for copies? We went straight to Town Hall and asked them for a copy and they made one for us right then and there. They sealed it for us and everything. If you have your original you can use that at SS and the DMV because they don't take it they just need to see it and then they give it right back. Good Luck!
